Lake Powell is located near Page, Arizona and is 186 miles long (which is longer than the entire west coast of the continental United States)! It is the second largest man-made lake in the United States. There are 96 major canyons to explore by boat and over 160,000 acres of National Recreation Area to explore by foot or four-wheel drive.
Lake Powell is also the home to Rainbow Bridge. Rainbow Bridge has deep religious and spiritual significance to area Native American Tribes. Also known as “Nonnezoshi”, meaning “rainbow turned to stone”, Rainbow Bridge stands at a spectacular 290 feet high, creating an awe-inspiring sight! Boat and air tours are offered daily throughout most of the summer season and organized tours are welcome throughout the year.
